As a kid my two favorite toys were a nerf football and a used word processor. I have always loved the creative and critical process of the written word. This is a process I have been given increasing opportunities to engage and use throughout the years.
I have written articles for small publications, newspapers, magazines, journals, and guest blogs.
I have also been given the honor of being a book review blogger over the course of the last few years.
I can work to commission a poem for you either for written purposes or for performance purposes.

WOULD YOU WRITE A POEM FOR ME
If you would like me to write a poem for your use, here are some things you’ll need to explain:
– the idea and desired vision or outcome of the piece
– a basic description of your intended audience
– the desired length
– the presentation medium (where and how the piece will be presented)
– the feel and emotion of the piece
If you would like a poem and a video, you’ll need to:
– provide all of the above
– describe the imagery, ideas, and feel of the video
– determine whether you want a storyboard or a performance piece
– provide the crew and post-production crew
You can expect from me:
– a well-thought piece honoring your criteria above
– a proof ahead of time to be sure you are happy
– preparation and professionalism in the page and performance
